Hibernation

Comfort Station will be hibernating as of the holidays, with our regular programming kicking off again in March.

Please check out our winter installation viewable from the outside, Alveolar Acidosis, but PIXELFACE.

We are also excited to be working with In/Time and Goat Island for a special performance by Judith Leemann on February 16th.

As we wrap up our eighth year of programming at Comfort Station, we want to say thank you to all of our friends who followed our programs, supported our fundraisers or attended one of the over 150 events we produced in 2018!

We're entering a short hibernation at the end of this month, but 2019 will be our most ambitious season yet. We'll be expanding our programming and bringing in some new partners, including an international exchange with artists in Brazil funded by a MacArthur Foundation grant, our third edition of the POWER Project in collaboration with the Art Leaders of Color Network, and a special performance in conjunction with legendary Chicago collective Goat Island's retrospective at the Chicago Cultural Center.

With this in mind, we hope you can
donate to our efforts as 2018 closes out. We're committed to being a FREE public space with no barriers to entry, so our programs rely on donations from our broad network of support in Chicago. All donations are tax deductible.
