SCAFFOLD presents a one-day pop up exhibition of Sabina Oehninger’s terrycloth textiles, featuring a 4 pm performance by Art Union Humanscape Duo, Ayako Kato, dance and Jason Roebke, double bass.
Described as, “moving everyday sculptures, artfully cast in naturalness” (Luzerner Zeitung, Switzerland)," Art Union Humanscape (AUH) Duo was formed in 1998 by dancer/choreographer Ayako Kato and double bassist/composer Jason Roebke. Since then, the duo toured the US, Japan, and Europe, collaborating with over 60 musicians. They performed for A Race in Space Festival, Lucerne, Switzerland; DOEK Festival in Amsterdam; Chicago Jazz Festival; Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago; Issue Project Room, Brooklyn; Echigo Tsumari Art Triennial, Niigata, Japan and beyond.
