Amos Egleston is an improvising trumpet player based in Chicago. He has a background in jazz and classical music and holds a masters degree in Performance from Northern Illinois University. Amos' playing and composition is influenced by the work of Ornette Coleman, Don Cherry and Thelonius Monk, as well as the Chicago improvised music scene. With his eponymous quartet and various other ensembles he performs regularly in and around Chicago.
Pinnings is the lo-fi freak folk recording project of Chicago actor/musician, Kieran McCabe. Taking inspiration from Dr. Dog, Kurt Vile, and Chicago's husky brawling DIY spirit, Kieran writes, performs, and mixes Pinnings tunes on garageband on his iphone in his garage. Kieran has a degree in English Creative Writing for Loyola Chicago, he drums and sings with The Oh Boys, and as an actor is represented by Big Mouth Talent.
