Brent Penny is a Chicago based singer-songwriter and musician crafting his personal take on pop. Penny’s sound is informed by various shoegaze, ambient, folk, and experimental components. With deadpan lyrical delivery Penny combines that which is deeply visceral with the surreal.
New self released EP “Growing Deeper, Getting Mutable” was released in May 2024. This EP is a selection from collaborations with Eric Littmann, as well as Nat Harvie and is his most poignant release to date.
Mitch Stahlmann Oakland based improvisor and composer/performer. His personal practice is dedicated to revealing the unearthed tones and uncharacteristic behaviours of the flute alongside proprietary electronic systems. His work has been presented in collaboration with and alongside Kronos Quartet, Meredith Monk, Zeena Parkins, Briana Marela.

Mitch completed his MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media with a Elizabeth B. Mills award for Composition at Mills College in 2020.

Anna Johnson is a Chicago-based artist that creates at the borders of performance, sound, moving image and installation. Her sound practice explores the materials of voice, synthesizer and electronic processing in pursuit of aural landscapes. She draws from her backgrounds in Western classical, traditional and religious musics and engages elements of improvisation, drone, and hypnotic minimalism. She seeks to render spaces that invite embodiment, curiosity and presence.
