Noah Jenkins is a composer and violinist/violist from Oregon now living in Chicago. Much of his recent work is inspired by the listening interactions of chamber music, the immersive potentials of drone music, and a fascination with psychoacoustic phenomena, rational intonation, and field recordings.
Noah’s music has been honored by leading ensembles of the contemporary music community including the Los Angeles Philharmonic (2024-25 Green Umbrella Series commission), Wild Up (2022 LA Phil National Composers Intensive), Mivos Quartet (2020 Kanter Prize finalist), and Wet Ink (2018 Wet Ink Large Ensemble Readings). He recently released Without Persistent Environments, an album made in collaboration with Riley Leitch on Saywer Editions.
Riley Leitch is a Chicago based trombonist/composer.
