Ben Zucker engages in acts of creative juxtaposition and speculation as a composer, audiovisual artist, and multi-instrumentalist. Acclaimed as a "master of improvisation" (IMPOSE Magazine), and “more than a little bit remarkable” (Free Jazz Blog), they have contributed to experimental music scenes with “stirring compositions…built on a lifetime of musical curiosity” (Chicago Reader), as well as albums, multimedia situations, and frequent performances on vibraphone, brass, voice, and electronics, including the Chicago-based creative music quartets Fifth Season and Mad Myth Science.

Guitarist and composer Curran Law is a fresh voice on the improvised music scene in Chicago. Gathering influence everywhere from the Vermont Improvised Rock world to New York's Jazz scene, Curran aims to mold different musical streams into a coherent and impactful sound.

Evan’s musical engagements on Bb and bass clarinet have span across multiple mediums, including classical music, contemporary improvisation, and lofi. Recent collaborations have been with Duo Riso, the Pinson Chamber Band, the Curran Law Quartet, and Maxim & Mantra Duo. 

Jack Kleinjans is a beatsmith that wants to make the voices heard and the people move.

Akjai is an improvising quartet comprising double bass, cello, violin and vocals.The group explores many sonic worlds ranging from 20th century classical music, to art song, to free jazz and pairs it with various forms of text including Octavia Butler, RA Washington, Brianna Tong, and Ishmael Ali.
