PrrPrr is a sonic performance project of Paige Naylor and Ro(b)//ert Lundberg. The project weaves together Naylor’s manipulation of human voice with Lundberg’s exploration of the sonic edges of the double bass, creating singular aural tapestries that feel unmoving yet everchanging. Text and graphic prompts often inform their intertwined performance.
Paige is an experimental vocalist and multimedia artist. She holds an MFA in Sound from the School of the Art Institute and a Certificate in Deep Listening from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has shown work through The Wire Magazine, the Chicago Cultural Center, Terrain Biennial, Hyde Park Art Center, to name a few.
Ro makes music, image, and performance—both solo and with numerous collaborations. They hold a BFA in improvised music from The New School and a Masters in environmental art and science studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They’ve presented work at SITE Santa Fe, JVC Jazz Festival, Gallery 400, and Big Ears Festival.
Die Physiker is the live electronics project of Garrett Laroy Johnson
