A drummer tries to reunite with his ex-bandmates. But there's bad blood between them.

Ex Disposer follows Andy, the destructively neurotic former drummer for New Jersey

hardcore outfit Disposer, who discovers his old band is returning home after a cross-country tour.

Nostalgic for his days behind the kit, Andy attempts to reunite with his bandmates, but first, he must confront the bad blood that was shed during his split from the group.

DANIEL FERRER is a writer and director based in Northern New Jersey. As a lifelong lover of films, Daniel pursued filmmaking at Montclair State University. An open book on his struggle with clinical depression and anxiety, his body of work is often punctuated with stories and characters dealing with the conditions. Ex Disposer, his debut passion project made possible in collaboration with filmmaking partner and producer Amelia Spitler, is his most ambitious and personal film to date. When not writing or directing, he works in film education with Montclair Film.

Producer’s Bio:

AMELIA SPITLER is a lesbian filmmaker and producer. Her work focuses on character-driven stories rife with internal conflict. As a film coordinator, her first feature, Emma Seligman’s Shiva Baby, won the John Cassavetes Award at the 2022 Independent Spirit

Awards. As a film producer, her first short, Daniel Ferrer’s Ex Disposer, was nominated for Best Student U.S. Short at the 2020 Palm Springs International ShortFest. She most

recently was the Assistant to the Co-Executive Producer of NBC/Wolf Entertainment’s “Chicago Fire” series. Amelia happily resides with her girlfriend and dachshund in Chicago.
