Plants on sale from 10 AM - 3 PM

Workshop begins at 1 PM

Prairie Friends exclusively grows and sells native plants in a collective effort to help restore a small part of the natural ecosystem that thrived in Chicago for thousands of years. By planting flowering perennials, we can provide permanent habitat and food sources for the many species of bees, butterflies, birds, and other native wildlife living near our homes.

Join us at Comfort Station this weekend alongside Steve from Prairie Friends and June’s exhibition artists, Lydia Cheshewalla and Jess Price, to help to restore a section of the lawn while also cultivating new growth and biodiversity in community green spaces.

Additional native plants will be available for personal purchase from 10 AM - 3 PM on the lawn.
