An aptly named collection of things to eat, drink, visit, learn about, and experience in Chicago, The 500 Hidden Secrets of Chicago (Luster) is an homage to a city that’s powered equally by labor and love. To celebrate its release, local author Lauren Viera (ig: laurenmviera) is foregoing a typical book reading to exemplify the true nature of her book: sharing some of Chicago’s hidden secrets. With the help of local vendors this event will highlight as many “secrets” as can fit at Comfort Station (Secret No. 232) on an autumn evening.
