Miller's talk is synthesized as a companion piece to his on-going project A Brief History of Chasing Storms, a feature-length film exploring the south plains of "Tornado Alley" through its weather. Combining portraiture, travelogue, and landscape vignettes, A Brief History searches in hybrid essayistic form to reveal the complexities of a region continuously rewritten through migration, colonization, and severe weather.
