PIPS is a friendly, informal gathering for testing out new puppet and object-based work.
Are you new to puppetry and want a low stakes way to test the waters? Are you an old hand with a new project? Are you a dancer, comics artist, performance poet, teacher, lifeguard, engineer just curious about what puppetry looks like today? Everyone is welcome!
Bring whatever you're working on, no matter how rough, and get encouragement and feedback from other Chicago puppet-folks, – or just come to see what's up and join in the conversation.
This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
Thank you also to support from the Gaylord & Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation, and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events.
