We believe cultural participation and leadership should be accessible to all. That’s why every exhibition, film screening, and performance at Comfort Station is free. In 2026, our 30 volunteer programmers produced more than 80 free events. Your support made it all possible.

While our historic building sleeps during construction, the work behind the scenes continues. We’re been busy dreaming up exciting new initiatives for 2027 and preparing for the next chapter of Comfort Station—a shared community resource sustained by artists, volunteers, and neighbors like you.

This giving season, a gift of $50 helps us sustain free programming, support artists, and mentor emerging curators. Your generosity supports not just a historic building, but the relationships and possibilities that bring it to life.

Thank you for being part of this work. Together, we can sustain a place where Chicago’s artists, cultural workers, community organizers, and neighbors gather, create, and shape the cultural life of our city.

Sincerely,
