Open to Chicago based artists

  • Accepting proposals for solo and two-person exhibitions AND our Winter Installation during our 'hibernation' from regular programming. The Winter Installation will be viewable only from the outside during the months of January and February.  Click here to see Kate McQuillen’s installation, for example.

  • If you are submitting for both a regular season show AND a Winter installation please submit two separate proposals and choose the appropriate option on the form

  • Please submit 5-15 images of your current work/ or mock-ups of your proposal. If your proposal goes beyond traditional installation methods, please provide details on how you plan to install.

  • There is a $200 stipend provided for each exhibition; $500 for the Winter Installation

  • Deadline: October 25th, 2018 by 11:59pm

Please be aware that all exhibitions [with the exception of the the Jan/Feb Winter installation] will be up during our active season. This means that the work installed must take our extensive monthly film/music/community programming into consideration. Exhibitions blocking the performance/seating spaces or are particularly fragile, might not be the best fit for our space. That said, we encourage you to throw us your biggest ideas! For more ideas of how the space has been used in the past please consult our Facebook bank of images!
